Garlic bread with Sage
Butter and Sage go well together. Add plenty of garlic an spread it on a slice of your home-baked sourdough bread. Garlic bread is always a crowdpleaser.
- 1 Baguette about 30 cm/1 1/4 inches long
- 50 gram butter softened
- 3 garlic cloves minced, or two pressed or grated.
- 14 Sage leaves chopped
- 2 tablespoon Parmesan cheese grated
Preheat your oven to 430ºF / 220ºC.
Cut the baguette in 2 cm/ 3/4 inch thick slices.
Mix the butter with garlic and Sage and spread it on the bread slices. Sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese.
Place on an oven tray, and cook for 10 minutes or until golden and the sage is crisp.
