Garlic bread with Sage

Butter and Sage go well together. Add plenty of garlic an spread it on a slice of your home-baked sourdough bread. Garlic bread is always a crowdpleaser.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Baguette about 30 cm/1 1/4 inches long
  • 50 gram butter softened
  • 3 garlic cloves minced, or two pressed or grated.
  • 14 Sage leaves chopped
  • 2 tablespoon Parmesan cheese grated

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 430ºF / 220ºC.
  • Cut the baguette in 2 cm/ 3/4 inch thick slices.
  • Mix the butter with garlic and Sage and spread it on the bread slices. Sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese.
  • Place on an oven tray, and cook for 10 minutes or until golden and the sage is crisp.
